Sonar = <3<3<3

Night 1:
  • Get really drunk
  • Meet Swiss guy who gives you drugs
  • Reminisc about IDM days during Sora set
  • Get blown 5 metres back when Laurent Garnier kicks in the bass on the hugest system ever
  • Tiga slays 5000 spectators with some mix of LCD Soundsystem - Tribulations (not Tiga´s Trance Closet mix, I don´t think). Sounded absolutely enormous. Other highlights: The Knife - We Share Our Mother´s Health (I think Trentmoller mix, if it´s the song that I´m thinking of). Also Tiga - Good As Gold/Flexible Skulls was nice to hear.
Nigh 2 was even more stacked: Hot Chip, Goldfrapp, Isolee, Diggable Planets, and finally Diplo vs. A-Track, by which point I was horribly tapped-out. But yeah, it was outrageous. All the Hollertronix shit got played. Someone was talking to me at one point and I just like ceased to function because I *sensed* that Bone Crusher - Never Scared would come on next, which it did, and I kind of lost it at that point. I sat through most of the Miss Kittin set, but was too fucked for Modeselektor, so I dipped. I only caught the Isolee set briefly, which is a shame, because it was getting good.

Here´s something I discovered in Sofia that aught blow your mind:

Loshite ft. Misho Shamara

Truly the the Balkan´s finest.

That LCD mix of Tribulations will almost defnitely the Lindstrom mix. You'll probably remember it for its insane cut up vocal breakdown that will get any crowd going!
