Love Beat

In my quest for the perfect non-dance mix, I have been scouring crates and harddrives recently, and coming up with interesting stuff. Example:

Yoshinori Sunahara - Balance

This is off the Love Beat album and is absolutely nuts. Definitely music to sex your woman to (better put it on 45, it's like 7 minutes). I really feel the bass line, the non-progression of it. I wonder if Japanese musicians stay true to Yamaha and Kawai synths the way some acclaimed Germans rock PPG Waves (To Rococo Rot, notably).

In case you're wondering, the above photo comes from a Japanese Love Hotel exhibit held at Columbia University in 2002.

Non-dance mix coming really soon, I swear. Kid 506 can't touch that shit.

how wonderfully presumptuous, being that i've your "mix" and youve yet to hear mine. since ive heard both, i'll let you mine is better.

The only way your mix can be better is if you're running Ableton Live 6 on an Intel iMac and have 192kbps or higher mp3s. That you paid for.

my mp3s are 160.

507, learn to organise your rebuttals. Don't be so rushed when trying to conjure wit. If you let the initial feelings of, "omg this guy is trying to fuck with me!" pass then you might be able try and convince me that your mix could possibly be better. I am not the best dj or softwear mixer by any means but for the sake of shooting you down: i am the shit and you cannot hold up.

bahaha.
You were wise to throw in the towel.

Stan, feel free to tell me why i am not the shit. I'm just looking for a virtual fight.

also,

we are now on the topic of non-dance.

All past mixes can only be refrenced for editing styles. They are not representative of what a non-dance mix would sound like. How wonerfully presumptuous indeed..

I smell a battle! I would just like the world to know that 506's biceps measure 46" (each), he is trained in vaguely martial arts (Tai Chi, Pilates), and he is also a formidable Bridge player so DON'T FUCK WITH HIM.

But I'm pretty sure he has a 20GB harddrive.
